“ I had a fish of the day which was wolffish, I have eaten it for a first time. It was nice. Local beer is good as well. Staff superkind and always helpful. ”

“ Highly recommended: Salka Restaurant in Húsavík If you’re visiting Húsavík, don’t miss a meal at Salka Restaurant. The food is truly excellent — we had the Arctic charr and the fish of the day, and both dishes were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The service was outstanding: warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly staff made us feel right at home. The interior is cozy and stylish, with a relaxed yet welcoming atmosphere. A fantastic spot to enjoy fresh Icelandic seafood in the heart of town. Would absolutely come back! ”
“ Delicious food! Products fresh and well cooked. The fish is outstanding! The staff talk down to the guests but it doesn't bother me, I'm writing to let them know it shows ”
“ Phenomenal meals today! I had the Chicken Tagliatelle and my husband had the fish of the day - Wolf fish. Both meals were very well presented and prepared! The prices in Iceland have made me shy away from the more expensive eateries. Taxes and tip are included in the price though. So when this calculated in the prices are much more reasonable. $100 for 2 phenomenal meals and a glass of wine ....perfect! ”
“ Food is delicious!! Seafood soup and fish of the day mmm. Seafood soup even as a starter is a big portion, so you might not need main dish. I can eat a lot and I came hungry and those 2 made me want to explode. ”
